BEng(HONS) Mechanical Engineering graduate, currently working as a Research Assistant at the MI Lab and pursuing a MSc in Mechanical Engineering.

At London South Bank University, Dr Rajabi directs the MI Research Group, translating biological principles into advanced engineering solutions. Exploring areas such as insect-wing biomechanics, adaptive and damage-resistant structures, multifunctional surgical devices, and hybrid bioinspired drones with a key focus on embedding “mechanical intelligence” into design to reduce reliance on complex control systems. Their work spans fundamental research to real-world applications, drawing on expertise across mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science, biology, and materials science.
